Hi! I'm Kristin Ardese, a True-to-color  New Jersey Wedding photographer

Jenah and Nick’s August elopement at the Hackensack County Courthouse was an intimate and romantic celebration filled with beautiful light, meaningful moments, and plenty of emotion. With a simple courthouse ceremony followed by portraits with their loved ones, their day was a beautiful reminder that a wedding celebration can be both intentional and incredibly personal.

AN INTIMATE COURTHOUSE CEREMONY

Jenah and Nick shared an intimate ceremony surrounded by family. As they exchanged their vows, the emotion of the moment quickly set in, with both of them becoming teary-eyed. It was quiet, heartfelt, and completely genuine.

And Jenah looked absolutely stunning as a bride. Her bridal portraits became some of my favorite images from the day, especially with the beautiful August weather and incredible natural light outside the courthouse.

ROMANTIC PORTRAITS IN HACKENSACK

After their ceremony, we spent time photographing portraits with their family before taking some time for just the two of them. The exterior of the courthouse provided a surprisingly beautiful backdrop, with classic architecture and gorgeous light creating an editorial feel throughout their portraits.

As a true-to-color NJ wedding photographer, I wanted to preserve the natural beauty of the day while giving their portraits a soft, romantic, editorial feel. From their emotional ceremony to their newlywed portraits, every part of the gallery reflects how intimate and special their celebration was.

Jenah and Nick’s New Jersey elopement was proof that you don’t need a large wedding to have a day filled with emotion, beautiful portraits, and memories worth preserving.
