Alexxi and Ethan’s July 2026 wedding at The Woodwinds in Branford, Connecticut was a beautiful blend of classic, modern, and timeless style. Their dusty rose, blue, and white color palette paired perfectly with the elegant venue grounds, lush scenery, and surrounding vineyards.
As an East Coast wedding photographer, I loved how much variety there was throughout their day. From the vineyard portraits at Rose Vineyards to the beautiful grounds at The Woodwinds, every location offered something unique.
GETTING READY & VINEYARD FIRST LOOK
Alexxi and her bridesmaids got ready in Hamden while Ethan prepared in Clinton before everyone met at Rose Vineyards for their first look and family photos.
The vineyard was one of my favorite parts of the day to photograph. The scenery created such a beautiful backdrop for portraits, especially with Alexxi’s long, flowing veil and the soft dusty rose and blue details.
A CLASSIC OUTDOOR CEREMONY
The couple exchanged vows outdoors at The Woodwinds beneath a beautiful white floral arch. The venue’s grounds provided a stunning setting for their ceremony and portraits, with plenty of natural scenery throughout the property.
My true-to-color wedding photography style was a perfect fit for the day, keeping the soft blues, dusty rose tones, greenery, and white florals natural and true to how everything looked in person.
PORTRAITS AND A FUN-FILLED RECEPTION
The reception brought a playful side to their timeless wedding aesthetic. One of the highlights was the oversized cutouts of Alexxi and Ethan that made their way onto the dance floor and had everyone having fun.
Alexxi and Ethan’s wedding was such a beautiful example of the kind of celebrations I love photographing as a New Jersey wedding photographer serving NJ, New York, and the East Coast: timeless details, beautiful scenery, genuine moments, and plenty of personality.
